Sharks re-sign Brown
Jun 17, 2014 - 9:27 PM San Jose, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The San Jose Sharks re-signed forward Mike Brown on Tuesday to a two-year contract.Brown, who would've become an unrestricted free agent, compiled two goals and five points with 75 penalty minutes in 48 games last season. The 28-year-old also potted his first postseason goal and an assist during six playoff games against the eventual Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings.
In 337 career games with Vancouver, Anaheim, Toronto, Edmonton and San Jose, Brown has posted 17 goals, 14 assists and 666 penalty minutes.
