Santorelli, Bodie come to terms with Leafs
Jul 3, 2014 - 11:59 PM Toronto, ON (SportsNetwork.com) - The Toronto Maple Leafs came to terms with forwards Mike Santorelli, Troy Bodie and Petri Kontiola on one-year contracts Thursday.Santorelli played in 49 games for Vancouver last season and had 10 goals and 18 assists. He has 43 goals and 44 assists in 257 career NHL contests with Nashville, Florida, Winnipeg and Vancouver.
The 29-year-old Bodie played in 47 games last season for Toronto and had three goals and seven assists. He has compiled 21 points (9 goals, 12 assists) in 154 games with Toronto, Carolina and Anaheim.
Kontiola, a seventh-round draft pick of the Blackhawks in 2004, last played in the NHL in 2007-08 with Chicago and had five assists in 12 games. A member of Finland�s bronze medal winning team at the 2014 Winter Olympics, Kontiola has spent the past five seasons in the Kontinental Hockey League.
