Senators extend MacArthur
Aug 19, 2014 - 8:39 PM Ottawa, ON (SportsNetwork.com) - The Ottawa Senators signed forward Clarke MacArthur to a five-year contract extension on Tuesday.The contract, which will run through the 2019-20 season, will carry an annual average value of $4.65 million.
MacArthur, 29, notched a career-high 24 goals with 31 assists in 79 games last season, his first with the Senators.
The Alberta native, who was selected in the third round by Buffalo in 2003, has registered 117 goals and 151 assists with 307 penalty minutes over 482 career games, spanning eight seasons with Buffalo, Atlanta, Toronto and Ottawa.
