Sharks' Kennedy placed on IR
Dec 9, 2014 - 7:28 PM San Jose, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - San Jose Sharks forward Tyler Kennedy was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.Kennedy was hurt in Saturday's game against Calgary after playing just two shifts in the first period. He had his left arm in a sling after the contest.
In 13 games this season, Kennedy has three goals and two assists.
The Sharks also assigned goaltender Troy Grosenick to their American Hockey League affiliate in Worcester and recalled forward Melker Karlsson from the minor league club.
