Isles' Lee named top rookie for February
Mar 1, 2015 - 8:04 PM New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - New York Islanders center Anders Lee was selected as the NHL's top rookie for February.Lee led all rookies with seven goals and 15 points in 15 games last month. He registered multi-goal games on Feb. 3 against Florida and Feb. 12 against Toronto, then set a career high with four assists in a win over Columbus on Feb. 14.
Others considered for the honor included Ottawa teammates Mike Hoffman and Mark Stone, as well as Rangers right wing Kevin Hayes.
