Isles acquire Kennedy from Sharks
Mar 2, 2015 - 7:59 PM Uniondale, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - The New York Islanders acquired forward Tyler Kennedy from the San Jose Sharks in exchange for a conditional pick in the 2015 or 2016 draft.Kennedy has four goals and five assists in 25 games this season.
The 28-year-old Ontario native has registered 84 goals and 110 assists in 464 career games with Pittsburgh and San Jose. He won the Stanley Cup with the Penguins in 2009.
The Islanders also sent forward Cory Conacher to the Vancouver Canucks for forward Dustin Jeffrey.
