Ducks receive Hagelin from Rangers
Jun 27, 2015 - 3:25 PM Sunrise, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Anaheim Ducks acquired forward Carl Hagelin from the New York Rangers during Saturday's draft.The Ducks also received the 59th and 179th picks in the draft, while sending forward Emerson Etem and the 41st selection to the Rangers.
Hagelin posted 17 goals and 35 points over 82 games last season for New York, adding two goals and three helpers in 19 playoff games.
The 26-year-old Swede has compiled 58 goals and 72 assists in 266 career games with the Rangers. He totaled 12 goals and 26 points in 73 playoff games.
Etem, 23, notched five goals and as many assists in 45 games for the Ducks this past season. He has posted 15 goals and 31 points over 112 career games, all with Anaheim.
