Report: Senators' C Spezza could miss Thursday's game

Oct 31, 2007 - 8:30 PM TORONTO (Ticker) -- The Ottawa Senators could be without center Jason Spezza for Thursday's game against the Atlanta Thrashers, TSN reported on its web site Wednesday.

Spezza, the Senators' second-leading scorer with 13 points, missed Wednesday's skate after suffering a slight groin pull in Tuesday's practice.

"It happened yesterday and right now it doesn't feel that good," Spezza said. "We're just going to kind of take it day by day."

With 18 points, the Senators are first overall in the Eastern Conference, having won nine of their first 10 games.
