Stars C Modano ties Housley for U.S.-born points lead
Nov 1, 2007 - 2:48 AM DALLAS (Ticker) -- Dallas Stars center Mike Modano was credited with the secondary assist on defenseman Sergei Zubov's power-play goal midway through the third period of Wednesday's game against the Chicago Blackhawks, giving him 1,232 career points.With the assist, Modano tied Phil Housley for the all-time scoring lead among American-born players. However, video replays of the play failed to show Modano touching the puck.
