Red Wings RW Cleary returns vs. Blue Jackets
Nov 10, 2007 - 2:24 AM DETROIT (Ticker) -- Detroit Red Wings right wing Daniel Cleary returned to Friday's game against the Columbus Blue Jackets for the third period after being hit in the face with the puck in the middle session.Early in the second period, Columbus' Rick Nash attempted to backhand the puck out of his own zone and hit Cleary above the right eye. Cleary retreated to the locker room but returned for the third wearing a face shield.
