Canadiens LW Begin injured
Dec 5, 2007 - 12:51 AM MONTREAL (Ticker) -- Montreal Canadiens left wing Steve Begin left Tuesday's game in the first period after receiving a hit from Detroit Red Wings defenseman Andreas Lilja.Begin was preparing to play the puck when Lilja checked him into the boards.
Begin stayed down on the ice before slowly managing to get to his knees. The 29-year-old was helped off the ice and escorted to the locker room.
His return is questionable.
