Leafs G Toskala returns
Jan 10, 2008 - 3:49 AM ANAHEIM, California (Ticker) -- The Toronto Maple Leafs have their No. 1 goaltender back.After missing six games with a groin injury, Toskala returned to action Wednesday, when the Maple Leafs visited the defending Stanley Cup champion Anaheim Ducks.
Toskala, who was acquired from San Jose last summer, had not played since posting a 2-1 overtime victory over Florida on December 22. Andrew Raycroft and Scott Clemmensen struggled in the Finn's absence, combining for a 1-4-1 record, with the lone win coming in a shootout.
In 29 games this season, Toskala has posted a 13-11-4 record with two shutouts, a 2.62 goals-against average and a .909 save percentage.
