Predators D Weber back in lineup
Jan 16, 2008 - 1:33 AM NASHVILLE, Tennessee (Ticker) -- Nashville Predators defenseman Shea Weber was activated and in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Calgary Flames.The 22-year-old Weber had been on injured reserve since December 23 with an injury to his lower left leg, causing him to miss 11 games.
In Nashville's season opener on October 4, Weber suffered a dislocated kneecap in a 4-0 victory over the Colorado Avalanche.
Weber returned on November 17 and played in 15 games before going back on injured reserve. For the season, he has one goal and five assists.
A second-round pick in 2003, Weber made his NHL debut in 2005-06, recording two goals and eight assists in 28 games. The native of British Columbia emerged as an offensive threat last season, registering 17 tallies and 40 points in 79 contests.
