Ribeiro added to West All-Star roster

Jan 22, 2008 - 8:16 PM NEW YORK (Ticker) -- Dallas Stars center Mike Ribeiro has been added to the Western Conference roster for Sunday's NHL All-Star Game in Atlanta.

Ribeiro replaces teammate Sergei Zubov, who will miss the game due to a groin injury that has caused him to sit out the Stars' last two contests.

Enjoying the best season of his career, Ribeiro, 27, will be making his first All-Star Game appearance.

In 48 games for Dallas, Ribeiro already has established single-season career highs for goals (21) and points (51).
