Senators D Schubert leaves game

Feb 1, 2008 - 5:00 AM OTTAWA (Ticker) -- Ottawa Senators defenseman Christoph Schubert left Thursday's 4-1 loss to the Boston Bruins midway through the third period after blocking a shot by blue-liner Dennis Wideman.

Schubert, who was hit on the right ankle, remained on the ice for a few moments before being helped to the locker room.

He did not return.
