Stars activate RW Lehtinen

Feb 1, 2008 - 7:31 PM EDMONTON, Alberta (Ticker) -- The Dallas Stars on Friday activated right wing Jere Lehtinen from injured reserve.

Lehtinen, 34, missed the past 33 games with an abdominal injury that required surgery.

In 21 games this season, Lehtinen has six goals and 13 assists. The three-time Selke Award winner missed just 11 total games over Dallas' previous two seasons.

Last season, Lehtinen led the Stars with 26 goals. Only Mike Modano (15) and Brian Bellows (10) have more 20-goal seasons than Lehtinen, who recorded his seventh 20-goal campaign last year.
