Stars sign Barch to two-year extension
Feb 11, 2008 - 9:34 PM DALLAS (Ticker) -- The Dallas Stars signed right wing Krys Barch to a two-year, $1.15 million contract extension Monday.Barch, 27, has appeared in 34 games with Dallas this season, recording one goal and two assists.
A native of Guelph, Ontario, Barch has appeared in 60 career NHL games over the last two seasons, collecting four goals and four assists.
"Krys has done a solid job in his role on our hockey club and we are glad to bring him back for the next two years," Stars co-general manager Les Jackson said. "He is a hard-nosed player who plays with an edge and gives us everything he has each shift."
