Flyers RW Lupul leaves game

Feb 17, 2008 - 6:58 AM MONTREAL (Ticker) -- Philadelphia Flyers right wing Joffrey Lupul left Saturday's 1-0 loss to the Montreal Canadiens with a high ankle sprain and did not return.

The 24-year-old suffered the injury during the first period, when defenseman Mike Komisarek fell on him. He will be re-evaluated on Sunday.

Lupul, who has played four contests since missing a month with a spinal chord contusion suffered on January 4, has 18 goals and 21 assists in 44 games this season.
