Iginla ties Flames' record for goals
Mar 2, 2008 - 5:25 AM GLENDALE, Arizona (Ticker) -- With two goals Saturday, Calgary Flames captain Jarome Iginla tied Theoren Fleury as the franchise's all-time leading goal-scorer.A first-round pick - 11th overall - of Dallas in 1995, the 30-year-old Iginla has 364 career goals in 844 games over 10 seasons - all with Calgary.
Iginla moved within one of the record at 5:46 of the opening period with a power-play goal on a quick wrist shot from the right faceoff circle. He then tied Fleury's mark with 8:41 left in the contest.
