Sabres D Spacek leaves game
Mar 11, 2008 - 12:27 AM BUFFALO, New York (Ticker) -- Buffalo Sabres defenseman Jaroslav Spacek left Monday's game against the New York Rangers after one period with an upper body injury.He will not return.
The 34-year-old Spacek has notched nine goals and 31 points in 58 games this season.
The Sabres also were without blue-liner Nathan Paetsch for several shifts in the second period after he was drilled into the boards by Rangers left wing Sean Avery. He returned later in the session, however.
No one has shouted yet.
