Senators C Kelly leaves game
Mar 23, 2008 - 12:05 AM OTTAWA (Ticker) -- Ottawa Senators center Chris Kelly left Saturday's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs in the first period with a right foot injury and will not return.Just over seven minutes into the contest, Kelly blocked Toronto defenseman Pavel Kubina's slap shot, causing the injury. The 27-year-old was visibly in pain and limped back to the locker room.
A native of Toronto, Kelly has recorded 11 goals and 19 assists in 75 games this season.
