Ducks RW Perry back in lineup

Apr 18, 2008 - 12:17 AM DALLAS (Ticker) -- After being sidelined for six weeks, Corey Perry is back on the ice.

The 22-year-old All-Star right wing returned to the lineup for the defending Stanley Cup champion Anaheim Ducks in Thursday's Game Four of the Western Conference quarterfinals against the fifth-seeded Dallas Stars.

Dallas leads the best-of-seven series, two games to one.

The Ducks' leading goal-scorer with 29 during the regular season, Perry had been sidelined since suffering a lacerated tendon above his right knee after being struck by the skate blade of Colorado Avalanche goaltender Jose Theodore on March 6.

He missed the final 12 games of the campaign as well as the first three of the quarterfinal series against Dallas.

Drafted 28th overall in 2003, Perry also recorded 25 assists this season for a career-high 54 points in 70 games.
