Knuble returns in Flyers' Game Four win

May 1, 2008 - 4:22 AM PHILADELPHIA (Ticker) -- The Philadelphia Flyers received an added boost Wednesday, when right wing Mike Knuble returned to the lineup for their 4-2 victory in Game Four of their Eastern Conference semifinal series against the top-seeded Montreal Canadiens.

Knuble recorded an assist while playing just under 17 minutes in the triumph, which gave Philadelphia a three-games-to-one lead in the best-of-seven series.

The 6-3, 230-pound Knuble had been sidelined since suffering a hamstring injury in Game Five of the conference quarterfinals against the Washington Capitals.

"It's all right," Knuble said of his hamstring. "There was a little tweak here and there, and that was to be expected, but I couldn't ask for a better response than it gave me tonight."

Knuble, who scored the game-winning goal in double overtime in Game Four against Washington, recorded two goals and three assists in his five games against the Capitals.
