Canadiens give six qualifying offers
Jun 25, 2008 - 10:56 PM MONTREAL (Ticker) -- Andrei Kostitsyn was among six players who were extended qualifying offers by the Montreal Canadiens on Wednesday.Kostitsyn, who recorded 26 goals and 27 assists last season, joins defensemen Josh Gorges and Ryan O'Byrne, centers Mikhail Grabovski and Corey Locke and goaltender Jaroslav Halak who also received qualifying offers.
All six players become restricted free agents if not signed by Tuesday.
