Ducks extend qualifying offer to Perry

Jun 26, 2008 - 1:38 AM ANAHEIM, California (Ticker) -- Corey Perry was among five players who were extended qualifying offers by the Anaheim Ducks on Wednesday.

Perry, 23, recorded a team-high 29 goals and 54 points in 70 games last season.

The 28th overall selection of the 2003 draft, Perry notched 54 goals, 64 assists in 208 career games - all with the Ducks.

Also receiving qualifying offers were centers Stephen Dixon and Geoff Platt, right wing Jason King and left wing Drew Miller. All five players become restricted free agents if not signed by Tuesday.
