FRISCO, Texas (Ticker) -- The Dallas Stars on Wednesday signed right wing B.J. Crombeen to a one-year, $550,000 contract.

Crombeen, 22, who made his NHL debut on January 19 against the Columbus Blue Jackets, recorded two assists and 39 penalty minutes in eight regular-season games for Dallas. He went scoreless in five playoff games for the Stars.

Originally selected 54th overall in 2003, Crombeen also registered 14 goals and 28 points in 65 games for Iowa of the American Hockey League in 2007-08.
