Thrashers re-sign D Oystrick, RW Crabb
Jul 15, 2008 - 10:44 PM ATLANTA (Ticker) -- The Atlanta Thrashers on Tuesday re-signed defenseman Nathan Oystrick and right wing Joey Crabb.Terms were not disclosed.
A seventh-round pick in 2002, Oystrick recorded 14 goals and 29 assists in 80 games with Chicago of the American Hockey League last season. The 25-year-old product of Northern Michigan added three tallies and 17 points during the Wolves' run to the Calder Cup championship.
Crabb, 25, notched nine goals and 26 assists in 72 regular-season games with Chicago in 2007-08. The native of Alaska, who was a seventh-round pick of the New York Rangers in 2002 and attended Colorado College, also collected a tally and five points in 24 playoff contests.
