Senators sign C Hennessy
Jul 29, 2008 - 8:08 PM OTTAWA (Ticker) -- The Ottawa Senators on Tuesday signed center Josh Hennessy to a two-year, two-way contract.Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Hennessy, 23, made his NHL debut during the 2006-07 season and had one goal in 10 games. He played in five contests with Ottawa last season and failed to register a point.
The Brockton, Massachusetts native had 22 tallies and 51 points in 76 games with the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League last season. Hennessy was originally selected by the San Jose Sharks in the second round of the 2003 draft.
