Ducks ink LW Lindstrom
Aug 27, 2008 - 10:21 PM ANAHEIM, California (Ticker) -- The Anaheim Ducks on Wednesday signed left wing Joakim Lindstrom to a one-year contract.Financial terms were not disclosed.
A second-round pick of Columbus in 2002, Lindstrom was acquired from the Blue Jackets on July 15 for a conditional pick in 2010.
Last season, the 24-year-old Swede recorded three goals and four assists in 25 games with Columbus while registering 25 tallies and 60 points in 49 contests with Syracuse of the American Hockey League.
In 37 career games with the Blue Jackets, Lindstrom has collected four goals, four assists and 18 penalty minutes.
