Red Wings, rookie G McCollum agree to three-year deal
Oct 3, 2008 - 8:33 PM DETROIT (Ticker) -- The Detroit Red Wings on Friday agreed to terms with goaltender Thomas McCollum on a three-year entry-level deal.Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.
The 18-year-old McCollum was the Red Wings' first round selection - 30th overall - in June's draft.
In three games with Guelph of the Ontario Hockey League this season, McCollum has a 3-0-0 record with a 2.00 goals-against average and a .942 save percentage.
