LOS ANGELES (Ticker) -- Patrick O'Sullivan's holdout is over.
A restricted free agent, O'Sullivan on Tuesday signed a new three-year contract with the Los Angeles Kings.
Financial terms were not disclosed, but - citing undisclosed sources - TSN of Canada is reporting the 23-year-old center will receive an average of $2.925 million per season.
A second-round pick of Minnesota in 2003, O'Sullivan was acquired by Los Angeles in June 2006 in a deal involving Pavol Demitra. The native of North Carolina is expected to practice with the Kings on Wednesday.
The 5-11, 190-pound O'Sullivan recorded 22 goals and 31 assists in 82 games for Los Angeles last season. He tied for the team lead with three shorthanded tallies and notched a career-high five points against St. Louis on February 21.
O'Sullivan made his NHL debut with the Kings in 2006-07, registering five goals and 14 assists in 44 contests.
