FRISCO, Texas (Ticker) -- The Dallas Stars reduced their roster Wednesday, assigning left wing Francis Wathier and right wing Chris Conner to the American Hockey League.
A sixth-round pick in 2003, Wathier was sent to the Iowa Chops. The 23-year-old spent the 2007-08 season with the Iowa Stars of the AHL, recording two goals and three assists in 19 games.
The 24-year-old Conner will begin the campaign with the Peoria Rivermen. A native of Westland, Michigan, he registered three goals and two assists in 22 games with Dallas last season and has notched four tallies and eight points in 33 career contests with the Stars.
