Predators C Arnott has fractured finger

Oct 15, 2008 - 1:55 PM NASHVILLE, Tennessee (Ticker) -- Nashville Predators center Jason Arnott is expected to miss at least a week due to a small fracture in one of the fingers on his right hand, according to a published report.

Arnott suffered the injury in the third period of Monday's 3-2 shootout victory over the Chicago Blackhawks.

The Tennessean reported on its web site Wednesday that Arnott will miss a minimum of three games and possibly be back for the club's October 23 home game against Calgary.

"That hurts because we were playing well together, really finding one another out there," said J.P. Dumont, Arnott's linemate. "But we have to deal with it."

Arnott, 34, was off to good start this season with two goals and two assists in three games.
