DALLAS (Ticker) -- Dallas Stars center Joel Lundqvist will miss four to six weeks with a shoulder injury that is believed to be a fractured scapula, according to a published report on Tuesday.
The Dallas Morning News reported the team does not have any immediate plans to call up a replacement.
Lundqvist has recorded one assist in nine games this season. The 26-year-old brother of New York Rangers star goaltender Henrik Lundqvist posted three goals and 11 assists over 55 games in 2007-08. In 100 career contests, Lundqvist has six goals and 15 assists.
The Are, Sweden native was selected in the third round in the 2000 draft by Dallas.
