CHICAGO (Ticker) -- The Dallas Stars on Friday recalled left wing Chris Conner from Peoria of the American Hockey League and placed center Joel Lundqvist on injured reserve with a shoulder injury.

Signed as a free agent in July 2006, Conner was in the lineup for Dallas' game against the Chicago Blackhawks at the United Center. The 24-year-old native of Westland, Michigan has recorded four goals and three assists in eight games with Peoria this season.

A product of Michigan Tech, Conner appeared in 22 games for the Stars last campaign, registering three goals and two assists. He made his NHL debut in 2006-07, notching a tally and three points in 11 contests.

The 26-year-old Lundqvist is expected to miss four to six weeks with his shoulder injury. Prior to getting hurt, the Swede posted one assist in nine games.

A third-round pick in 2000, the 6-1, 198-pound Lundqvist is the twin brother of New York Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist.
