Bruins send down C Sobotka
Nov 5, 2008 - 1:22 AM BOSTON (Ticker) -- The Boston Bruins on Tuesday assigned center Vladimir Sobotka to Providence of the American Hockey League.A fourth-round pick in 2005, Sobotka appeared in five games for Boston this season, posting a minus-2 rating without recording a point. The 21-year-old Czech has notched two goals and two assists in two contests with Providence this campaign.
The 5-10, 183-pound Sobotka made his NHL debut in 2007-08, registering a goal and six assists in 48 games.
