Canucks LW Burrows returns

Nov 5, 2008 - 4:27 AM VANCOUVER, British Columbia (Ticker) -- Vancouver Canucks left wing Alex Burrows returned to Tuesday's game against the Nashville Predators in the second period after leaving late in the first with an undisclosed injury.

Burrows dropped to the ice to block a shot by Nashville defenseman Dan Hamhuis with 1:48 remaining in the opening period and appeared to suffer an upper body injury. He completed his shift before skating to the bench and going directly to the locker room.

Burrows entered Tuesday with four goals and five assists in 12 games this season.
