Capitals D Morrisonn leaves game

Nov 7, 2008 - 1:54 AM WASHINGTON (Ticker) -- Washington Capitals defenseman Shaone Morrisonn left Thursday's game against the Carolina Hurricanes after one period with groin injury.

Morrisonn, who logged just over six minutes of ice time in the opening period, did not return to the bench to begin the second session.

He is not expected to return.
