Capitals LW Semin leaves game

Nov 15, 2008 - 2:56 AM WASHINGTON (Ticker) -- Washington Capitals left wing Alexander Semin left Friday's 3-1 win over the New Jersey Devils in the second period with an undisclosed injury.

Semin, who entered with a league-leading 27 points, is listed as day-to-day. The 24-year-old registered three shots on goal in just over 12 minutes of ice time.

Drafted 13th overall in 2002, the fourth-year Russian leads the Capitals in goals (13) and assists (14).
