Blue Jackets place D Klesla on IR
Nov 19, 2008 - 2:59 PM COLUMBUS, Ohio (Ticker) -- The Columbus Blue Jackets on Wednesday placed defenseman Rostislav Klesla on injured reserve.He suffered an ankle injury in Friday's 6-1 win at Buffalo and is expected to be sidelined at least one week.
Klesla has a goal and four points in 13 games with the Blue Jackets this season. The club's first pick - fourth overall - in the 2000 draft, Klesla has registered 109 points and 426 penalty minutes in 421 career games with Columbus.
