COLUMBUS, Ohio (Ticker) -- The Columbus Blue Jackets on Wednesday placed defenseman Rostislav Klesla on injured reserve.
Klesla suffered an ankle injury in Friday's 6-1 win over the Buffalo Sabres. He is expected to miss at least one week.
The 26-year-old Klesla has a goal and four points in 13 games with the Blue Jackets this season. Drafted fourth overall in 2000, the native of the Czech Republic has registered 36 tallies, 110 points and 428 penalty minutes in 423 career games with Columbus.
