Predators assign pair to Milwaukee
Nov 21, 2008 - 12:17 AM NASHVILLE, Tennessee (Ticker) -- The Nashville Predators on Thursday assigned rookie right wings Patric Hornqvist and Ryan Jones to Milwaukee of the American Hockey League.Hornqvist, 21, has recorded a pair of goals and five assists in 15 games with the Predators this season, his first in the NHL. The Swede was selected in the seventh round of the 2005 draft.
The 24-year-old Jones - who was acquired from the Minnesota Wild in July - also has appeared in 15 games with Nashville in his initial NHL campaign, notching three goals and six points.
Both Hornqvist and Jones are expected to be recalled by the Predators on November 27.
