NEWARK, New Jersey (Ticker) -- The New Jersey Devils on Thursday activated left wing Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond from injured reserve and assigned him to Lowell of the American Hockey League.
The 23-year-old Letourneau-Leblond missed nine games with an injury the team said affected his nasal passage, although several reports stated he had a cracked orbital bone. Prior getting hurt, the native of Levis, Quebec recorded one assist and 15 penalty minutes in three games with New Jersey after being recalled from Lowell on October 20.
A seventh-round pick in 2004, the 6-2, 210-pound Letourneau-Leblond appeared in four games with Lowell prior to the promotion, notching 32 penalty minutes.
