BOSTON (Ticker) -- One day after suffering a right knee injury, Florida Panthers defenseman Jassen Cullimore was kept out of the lineup against the Boston Bruins on Friday.
Cullimore was injured in the second period of Thursday's 3-1 loss to the New Jersey Devils. While battling for the puck along the boards in the offensive zone, he was undercut by teammate Stephen Weiss with 6:36 remaining in the session.
The 35-year-old Cullimore fell awkwardly and had to be helped off the ice by two teammates. He will be re-evaluated on Saturday.
Cullimore has recorded three assists and six penalty minutes in nine games this season.
