Hurricanes recall RW Dwyer

Nov 24, 2008 - 6:41 PM SUNRISE, Florida (Ticker) -- The Carolina Hurricanes on Monday recalled right wing Patrick Dwyer from Albany of the American Hockey League.

Dwyer was recalled on an emergency basis after right wing Patrick Eaves sustained an upper-body injury during Sunday's 5-2 loss to Nashville.

Dwyer has three goals and two assists in 11 games for Albany this season.
