Stars C Ott out at least one month
Nov 25, 2008 - 12:23 AM PHILADELPHIA (Ticker) -- Dallas Stars center Steve Ott will miss at least one month after suffering a broken right hand, the team announced Monday.Ott sustained the injury in a fight with Anaheim's Steve Montador during Saturday's 2-1 shootout loss to the Ducks.
The 26-year-old Ott has two goals and four assists in 14 games this season. His 51 penalty minutes rank ninth in the NHL entering Monday's contests.
In a corresponding move on Sunday, the Stars recalled Chris Conner from Peoria of the American Hockey League. Conner will likely take Ott's spot on a line with Brad Richards and Loui Eriksson.
