Avalanche place RW Tucker on IR, recall D Cumiskey
Nov 26, 2008 - 12:03 AM DENVER (Ticker) -- Colorado Avalanche right wing Darcy Tucker was placed on injured reserve Tuesday after suffering a knee injury Monday night in Anaheim.The veteran has four goals and three assists in 20 games in his first season with Colorado.
In a corresponding move, defenseman Kyle Cumiskey was recalled from Colorado's American Hockey League affiliate, the Lake Erie Monsters.
Cumiskey, who has appeared in one game with the Avalanche this season, has a goal and seven assists in 16 games with Lake Erie. He had five assists in 38 games with the Avalanche last season.
