Senators place D Richardson on waivers

OTTAWA (Ticker) -- The Ottawa Senators placed defenseman Luke Richardson on waivers Thursday.

Richardson, a 39-year-old Ottawa native, did not register a point in two games with the Senators this season.

A 21-year veteran, Richardson has 35 goals and 166 assists in 1,417 career games with six different teams.
