GLENDALE, Arizona (Ticker) -- The Phoenix Coyotes on Thursday learned center Olli Jokinen is expected to miss at least two weeks with a shoulder injury, ending his consecutive games streak at 397.

Jokinen left Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets in the second period after being checked into the boards, and did not return.

The 29-year-old Finn was acquired by Phoenix in the offseason via trade with the Florida Panthers, with whom Jokinen became the franchise's leader in points and goals.

Jokinen has seven goals and 11 assists in 21 games this season. The third overall selection by the Los Angeles Kings in 1997, Jokinen has 215 goals and 264 assists in 744 games with the Kings, New York Islanders, Panthers and Coyotes.
