Senators send three to minors
Nov 30, 2008 - 10:42 PM OTTAWA (Ticker) -- The Ottawa Senators on Sunday assigned defenseman Brian Lee and centers Cody Bass and Zack Smith to Binghamton of the American Hockey League.Lee, 21, recorded two assists in six games for Ottawa this season. In 16 games with Binghamton this season, Lee has one goal, five assists and 18 penalty minutes.
Bass was held without a point in four contests with Ottawa this campaign. The 21-year-old has one goal and an assist while recording 37 penalty minutes in 16 contests with Binghamton.
Smith, 20, made his debut in Ottawa's 4-2 loss to the New York Islanders on Saturday. Smith, who was held without a point in just over seven minutes of ice time on Saturday, leads Binghamton with nine goals this season.
